The two women won their respective semifinal matches on the December 13th episode of WWE SmackDown. Green defeated Bayley in her semifinal match, finishing her off with the Unprettier.

SmackDown featured the semifinal round of the women’s United States championship tournament. Michin defeated Tiffany Stratton in the opening match of the night. The finish was a little wonky here, as there appeared to be some contact on a Stratton moonsault that Michin was probably supposed to avoid.
