Secretary of State Antony Blinken described Monday’s aid as vital to Ukraine’s survival and efforts to fend off Russia.

The new military aid package for Ukraine includes an unusual weapon—the Pentagon has confirmed the delivery of the M131 MOPMS system. This system is an automatically deployed minefield contained in a suitcase.

The package will include Stinger missiles, ammunition for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), 155mm and 105mm artillery ammunition, drones, and landmines, among other equipment.
